I came to Taylor Recovery after completing 40 days at an inpatient rehabilitation center. As a recovering addict trying to get my life back together and get back on my feet, I chose Taylor because of the variety of amenities offered. I loved the fact that Taylor’s housing is individual luxury style apartments and is one of the only pet friendly facilities in Houston, TX. Another huge benefit was that they have an on-site 5 star chef, who is very accommodating to allergies, diet regimens, and personal preference for food choices. For example, if you did not like or could not eat what was prepared for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Zach (chef) would be sure to make you something different. Taylor helped introduce accountability back into my life with supervised drug testing, individualized weekly therapy sessions, and intensive outpatient group therapy every day of the week. Thomas Taylor, the owner of Taylor Recovery, and Ryan Davis, the Program Director, helped me save my life. They helped instill in me the importance of working an honest 12 step program and putting my recovery first, in order to succeed. When I first came to Taylor, I was nervous and hesitant to fully give myself to sobriety. However, Tommy and Ryan went above and beyond to make me feel right at home, very comfortable, and any personal needs I had were met without any questions asked. It is evident that Tommy and Ryan truly care about each and every client. They are more than understanding and sympathize with the personal struggles one faces in early recovery. Over the past six years, I have lived in over 15 sober livings and I have never maintained long lengths of sobriety and diligently worked a program, the way I did during the 4 months I spent at Taylor. I am still sober today, and I owe it all to the work of Tommy Taylor and Ryan Davis for never giving up on me, constantly encouraging me to be the best version of myself, and seeing something in me that I never saw until recently. I highly recommend Taylor Recovery to any struggling addicts in the Houston area, or those relocating out of state. Taylor recovery is by far the best sober living in Houston. Not only can you bring your pets but the staff here are so friendly and encouraging! They really make you feel at home and are there every step of the way in your recovery. Ryan and court are amazing at their jobs and always help me with whatever I need when I have a problem. All the counselors are really empathetic and understanding and helped me a lot with dealing with all my issues I needed to confront and conquer. I would definitely recommend Taylor recovery to anyone who is serious about getting sober and wants to have a good time while doing that and live in a hip place. I love everyone here and i owe my sobriety to Taylor and the people that have been here through my journey!!

Taylor has an amazing staff that really care for you. Ryan Davis is amazing at his job and makes you feel at home. Bobby is also one of the counselors that is always there to help and gives great advice. I came here looking for help with my addiction and they offered me the tools to help me with not only staying clean but with life lessons as well. Taylor takes sobriety seriously and want you succeed in life. I not only got sober but gained the knowledge to keep me staying sober.

Life changing facility. Holistic treatments and their one on one time really get to the root of what my issues were. I cannot recommend them enough!

The story of my personal journey through recovery would not be complete without mentioning Taylor Recovery Center. The staff here truly care about the residents finding the means to live full and productive lives without the burden of chemical dependency. The living accomadations are wonderful and the food is great about 6 days out of the week, (even chefs need a day off). Here at Taylor I guarantee that someone truly ready to change their stars can find happiness in sobriety and lifelong friends to boot.

Great facility, really nice living areas, the chef is a great cook, the counselors are great, you can have your pets ( a rare comfort not allowed at many sober homes), there's a lot of good people that are serious about recovery here and you really are set up here to just focus on getting what you came here for and practice working a daily program to stay sober.

I have been at Taylor for almost two months and plan on staying here at least a year. From being in and out of treatment centers for 9 years, I have finally found the place that is helping me grow and teaching me how to live a sober life. The staff are available 24/7 and it is a family here.

Hello people of america and Taylor, Ive spent about a good 3 months in Recovery and it has been a mind blowing experience that i wouldn't have gotten at any other recovery center! A shout out to the Taylor family and the important staff members that keep it maintained and up and running! 💯

I arrived straight out of a treatment center in Dallas Texas. I had been kicked out for petty stuff and by the grace of God Taylor let me come stay with them. The two main councelors are Court and Ryan. They are as laid back as anyone can ask but at the same time take recovery seriously. Tommy and Kristi are the owners and i cant say enough good about them. Tommys got 5 or 6 years under his belt and is an inspiration. We actually just won the softball tournament this past weekend so yes, they do take us out to do things. I’ve been in and out of these places, but only until i got to a place like this that has the compassion for the addict unlike the alanon “tough love” approach that would only lead me to use again, did i get a solid foundation for my recovery. Ive been quoted as saying this place is like a summer camp. Recovery related of course. If you got a problem, come get the answer. Boggus

My friend had been struggling with addiction most of his adult life. He had been through multiple treatment programs and always left after a couple weeks. Taylor Recovery provided him with an intensive outpatient program and sober living. He loved it and is still sober after a year and a half. I credit this place for saving his life and I'm so grateful for them. I would recommend this place to anyone struggling with addiction that needs a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
